I’ve been snapping photos since I was five, “borrowing” my mother’s camera to document my hometown of Canby from my ground-level perspective. When I moved to Portland, I was artistically stimulated by the beauty and diversity of the city. Even more, though, I was inspired by Portland’s love of both innovation and tradition. People here are so friendly and appreciative of the beauty that can spontaneously arise from a happy moment. To me, this is the best place in the world to be a wedding photojournalist!
