My name is Jim Yeager and I am a professional wedding photographer in the Portland and Salem Oregon area. This is my full time Job and I love taking memorable pictures of couples in love and weddings! I love to shoot destination weddings anywhere in the world and enjoy giving great rates to help couples overall wedding photography budget. This gives me a chance to travel and broaden my photography skills in different areas. I specialize in photojournalistic candid wedding photography. I love romantic wedding photography! Portland weddings are super fun in the summer and I enjoy being a part of them. Everyone is looking their best, in a chipper mood and I get to be part of the first memories of a blossoming marriage- an opportunity that I take seriously as your wedding photographer and guide. I am greatly skilled at capturing the moments as they come without missing a beat. I have been shooting weddings for over 8 years and now it’s like it comes naturally. Unfortunately all of the action does not happen around my where beings at weddings. This is why I include a 2nd photographer with every package. I truly think this is the best way to get photography coverage of your entire wedding.

I capture a bright and creative prospective at the wedding with my super high quality Canon full frame digital SLR camera. I use the Canon 5D MK III body and professional quality lenses to get the best quality shots possible. My favorite lens is the Canon 85mm 1.2 fixed focal. This lens is great for wedding portraits because of its rich and creamy bokeh. I also use other extremely high quality Canon zoom and prime lenses to create the perfect wedding picture package.

Photo booth rentals for weddings are popular! My talking photo booths are fun and hilarious! This is a great "give back" and lots of fun for your guests at your wedding.
